OK heres what i need to know, are all power steering pumps created equal? i have a 5.0 bracketry set up in my car and i want power steering but not sure if i can run a 87 93 power steering pump instead of the normal 70-77 maverick pump because 5.0 will bolt directly in any help will be appreciated thanks :hmmm:

Not all pumps are equal, Relief valveing is differnt on some pumps, But i would try the 5.0 pump, I cant see any harm it would do.

is it a "power steering pump" or a "power assist pump"
