i need to replace my floor pans, who sells maverick floor pans? if not what other pans will be close enough to trim down and put in? thanks
None made for the Maverick. Some have used Mustang pans and many more have made their own. Do some searches plenty of threads discussing them.
Get early model mustang pans. They're close enough. The floor contour is pretty different, but you should be able to use mustang seats and sliders if you replace the whole pan. You won't have a spot for the catalytic converter though.
i used 1971 ford mustang floor boards from mustangsunlimited.com with a welder, high speed cutter, sawsall, and a hammer, they fit wonderfully. the link is here for the floor boards... and you can do a search on here for me and floor boards to see my progress and pictures i ended up cutting each side, from foot area to back seat out, cut and trimmed to fit and welded in, and then cut out the drivers side, all the way, trimmed welded etc.. right side http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=1078R+01 left side http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=1078L+01 these are the cheaper metal ones, there are ones that cost 69.95 and the tech guy told me there really is no difference other than the type of metal.. and the ones i got work just fine..
71-73 Stangs are probably the best to use if you think about it... Set them up right, and you can always use the Stang seat brackets. The 71-73 Stangs use the same buckets as the early Mavericks (70-72) and are much easier to find. That way you don't need to dig up Maverick seat brackets to fit the seats. Stang brackets are easy to find. Just a thought. You're breaking my heart! Dave
i dont know... i dotn have one on my maverick... its not standard equipment on my car.. so i dont have to have it
