no...not PINKY:rolleyes:...Pinks "All Out"...the car is ready...made the gear change from 5.14 to 4.56 and tested it last night...ET dropped a tenth but picked up 2 MPH. I'll be in line when the gates open on Friday.
One thing I understand now is why 20 % of HP is lost from the crank to the wheels...I think an Moser thru bolt aluminum center section and spool with some gun drilled star flange axles are in order...or is that ON order(y)

O snap! Are you going to put the slip to PLUM on the line if ask?

*what did the rpm's drop at the end of the 1/8th with the gear change?

Good luck, Rick. I hope you come back $10,000 richer!

It'll make up for the $X,XXX.00 you spent, I mean 'would spend' on your, I mean "a", Moser thru bolt aluminum center section and spool with some gun drilled star flange axles.

p.s. Slow it down to get in with the majority of the field (on a whole number). (I know you can't let yourself do that, but it makes good cents - get it? Cents? ;))

Over 2000 rpm's John..typically I'm around 7800 rpm's...I was at 5600 and just startin to pull hard and it was at the traps...all the lost time was in the first 330' and most of that in the 60'.

Rick I'm just gonna try and see how the field pans out...it'll be fun no matter how they pick'em:)

This won't help with rotating mass but in combination with the aluminum spool and lightened axles it should help with the loss in horsepower thru the drivetrain...:16suspect

Your right John..be it good or bad in a side by side comparison with the Strange case the Moser has more meat to it particularly in the main bearing caps.
