Paint em or polish em?

    Definitely NOT an option...:p

IF you did powdercoat them, what color would you use?

Make sure the wheels aren't clear coated or the "ball" will be worthless.

Aluminum, of course. They can even be powder-coated to look like polished aluminum (I saw it on an episode of "Pimp My Ride").

I'd probably go with the cast-aluminum look though...

Messed around trying to buy some used rims for the front, but after not being able to find a pair of matching steel rims, I just bought some cheap 15X6s new, and will paint them to sorta match the rear ones, a semi-metallic silver.

I had a set of four of those, 15x7.5", on my 69 Falcon wagon. I just gave them away recently. Wish I had read this before hand :(

the new rims i got, are chrome.. i am not a hugs fan of chrome rims on a muscle car.. show car.. yes.. muscle.. not so much..

i have been thinking of sand blasting my new rims and painting them flat or semi gloss black, that way, the rims and tires and wheel well will all be black.. and i think with a decent paint job on the car, it would like really nice

Simon, notice that this is a poll...should i keep them aluminum of paint them black. Did you vote?

The aluminum vote won, and I am kinda glad right now.

Here is what I am putting on the front. Bought them today. Kept messing with mismatched rims (sorry fan2488 and maverickkid, who both donated some) but finally decided to get these new and paint them. They were originally white, but I am painting semi-gloss silver so they will sorta match the rear rims. These are "race-night ONLY" rims. I will use the wider cragars for daily driving.
