for those of you with painted engine bays, what color did you paint the block?

that sucks, there's always hope though! how does she look now?? Can she run at all? I bought a Isuzu Trooper that had been engulfed in a pond for 2 weeks! Didn't do too bad for 250 bucks, that was one of the most reliable vehicles I ever owned

The picture above is a recent picture. I've disassembled the car, cleaned or replaced most everything including the engine and tranny. Went from a hot 302/C4 to a bas-ass 347/4 speed. I'm trying to make it better than before. It's definitely a lot faster. I've recently entered in two car shows and won 1st place in both shows.

Well, the ins company totaled it out and thought they were going to get my car...WRONG!!! I argued with them until they agreed to let me have it back for 10% of the claim and I was able to keep a clear title too. Anyway, I pretty much just got paid to work on my own car the second time around. I manage a body shop for a dealership and the car was in my shop during the storm. We are a mile from the beach and still got 4 feet of water in the entire dealership. Things are finally starting to come back together though. I live in a better place now and have more Mavericks than before so I guess it can't be all bad. :)

question for you guys, I've got a gun, would it be better to paint all at once or can I paint it little by little? Convertin over from big bumpers to small bumpers from the 72, think have a "fiberglass" hood scoop, I'm using primer filler from dupli-color, seems pretty good after I let set for a day, while wet sanding it, still need lots of filling before it's done! but seems to be coming along, is spray cans just as good as the guns? My question is can I mix in the colors using a spray can with the older paint....?
