Emblems.... 3 Questions

    (2) 1970 Mavericks and a 1971 4dr Maverick
    1) How do you put on the fender emblems after the car is painted and put back together? I opened the door to slide my hand back there to put the middle clip on but my hands are too big.

    2) Where exactly does the trunk lid emblem go?

    3) What kind of glue do you use? I have some black weather stripping adhesive will that work?

    You should have some small clips called barrell nuts that push into the holes of the fender first. You then just push the emblem into the barrell nuts. There is no need to get to the back side of the fender. You should be able to look at some pics of some of the other guys cars to see the trunk emblem location. I don't have it on any of mine. The black weatherstripping glue is not good for emblems. If you need to glue it on, use 3M plastic and emblem adhesive. Should be available at any auto paint supply store.

    on my daughters, i took off the the rear mud shield. theres a lot more room that way.
