Parts from an older 302 to a newer 302

    Will the oil pan (front sump) from any older 302 fit onto a newer 302 ('90 5.0) ?

    yes it will but you will have to block the dip stick tube hole in the block though

    Another question, What flex-plate will work? The trans is a c-4 auto and the motor is a '90 5.0 302. I found one that is the 28oz one, is that the one I need?

    5.0 engines use a 50oz imbalance.

    That is the one for a 164 tooth bellhousing. If you are using a Maverick C4 and Bellhousing (which is 157 Tooth)... you need a 157 tooth flywheel.

    That one looks like a double sump. I'm not sure it will clear. Mine was a front sump, then I installed swinging baffles to keep the oil at the sump.
