I am not a pro...but I have just recently sprayed metallic.....and yes you need more pressure. and what I sprayed turned out rather nice....so bite me
Yeah, yeah, yeah...I hear ya. I just want to know how you adjust your air pressure on those Krylon cans. J/k John...I figure if anybody on here can spray a car, it would be you.
make the puncture hole bigger I am no pro by any means, but I am getting better. I am thinking (hoping) this Dakota I am doing now is gonna turn out nice.
Did anybody tell you the metallic was supposed to be mixed in with the paint? You're not supposed to just throw on the grinder shavings you swept off the floor.
I'm sitting here remembering a Gold Duster a friend of mine had painted back in the mid 70's when metal flake was big...and I mean BIG literally. The flakes were so big in that car that you couldn't even wash or wax it. The flakes stuck out of the paint and they would cut you if you weren't careful. Way more flakes than any bass boat I have EVER seen. I'm wondering if that's what your race car looks like.
Painting Yea i did mine with spray paint.....it worked out nice turned otu great, and the overspray was limited and wiped up easy
