    Anyone know what the correct finish for the Brake Line and Fuel line clips is?? Grey like bare metal or Gold cad plated?? or that funky Green that Ford used?

    Most of the ones that I see in the junk yard are rust colored.

    Looking at my big stash of parts.....it would appear that originally they were just bare, naked steel. I like the cad plating.

    The yellow cad is cool ... I would guess they were just zinc coated originally so they looked like bare steel. I think I just painted all mine with Metallic Rustoleum.

    I was doing some reading, and after September 1969 Ford used a kinda green finish for metal parts, I noticed that the bracked that holds my power steering hoses looks like what is described.
    Ford called it S100, it's a drab Olive-Green iridescent color (from Mustang Monthly 7/07)
