I want to see a picture of a Maverick with '03 Cobra wheels

    I'd love to put '03 Cobra wheels on my Maverick. Does anybody have a picture of one? Or has it even been done before? :hmmm:

    Those are Cobra wheels but not the ones I'm thinking of. I will do a search and see :cool:

    i seen a '68 stang with those at a car show last night, looked really good. dont know if you'll want to put the drum breaks in full view though.

    Can't beat drum brakes :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    But in seriousness I plan on changing them all to disks. The cragers I have on it now are all pitted and somewhat rusted. I may want to get them powder coated black or something. Does anyone have a picture of Cragers that are black or charcoal colored?

    Why not have them sanded down and powdercoated silver...:D

    I have a back set that are 11 inches wide that are "Mexichromed"(spray painted chrome). I was going to have them bead blasted and primered black but I heard that would kill the metal.

    Oh well.. I'll just run the ones I have now. When I need to get new tires, I'll get some new Cragers because the ones I have now are real skinny. My back tires are only 215 wide right now I believe.. And I don't think the rim will be able to handle a much bigger tire then that

    Go with the 8" rear rims, then you can get tires up to 255 on them, the most you can squeeze in there with just a little rubbing. Or go 245 and no rubbing at all.

    Are your rims 7" or 6"?

    My fronts are 7" and have had 185, 195, and currently 205s on them.

    I would be willing to buy a set off you when you get new ones...
