Hey i am almost 15 and starting to think about paint on my 71 ford maverick grabber i am restoring.. i was wondering if maybe someone could photoshop my car into a kind of gunmetal / tungsten-grey/silver for me.. ive never seen one in this color and think it would look pretty nice..

Well, I don't have the photochop skills to do what you ask, but I will submit to you the idea of the color 'pewter'.
Light Pewter Metallic to be exact.
It was an early 70s Ford color.
IMO it would look good on a Grabber with black stripes.
Here it is on a 71-73 Stang:

the pewter is nice.. as for the grey i was thinking maybe a little bit darker and with more depth if that makes sense.. ive never really worked with photo shop though so i dont know if it is possible to do in there. i appreciate the picture though.. gives me a pretty good idea what it will be like..

you cant make it look shinier without having a shiny new paint job to start with...

Well you can but it would take over an hour in PS no quick way with a dull car to start with. Best (easiest) way would be to pull someone elses car photo. white and shiny to start with and do it on there. If nearly the same angle you could also then move your wheels over, stripe etc.

i understand and i dont want to take up anyones time and i appreciate the work done.. i have alot better idea of what it would look like.. i actually like the pewter alot though. i have some time considering i have to save up the money for the paint.. my uncle owns a maaco, unfortunately its not local at all, in fact it is 1000 miles away, but i did talk to him and he told me alot of the tricks and such that they do to get more money so i do know how to get the best paint available but at a cheaper price.. but its still going to be a hard hit to the wallet :) but again thanks for the photos
