Here are a few pics of my engine bay after a little re-do...

    1. Installed MPG shocktower brace kit.

    2. Gave the intake a Fresh powder coating.

    3. New fabricated sheetmetal Valve covers.

    4. Installed all of the above with Stainless hardware.

The Valve covers are a One of a kind set that were made as a prototype for Ford Racing to market in there catalogue...and for some reason they decided not to carry them.

That is EXACTLY what I want my engine bay to look like.
    Clean, hassle/hose free and uncluttered.

    You have a beautiful car.

Mike, that is very sanitary! But don't you want to run the AC lines to those holes so they look used? :D Really does look good.(y)

Thanks alot for all the complements guys... One thing thats hard to notice in the pictures is The valve covers make the engine look HUGE in person ! I think it almost looks like a big block. The brace kit came from MPG head sevice and you will need to shorten the tubes to make it work...I called them back and gave them the measurements needed to offer a Maverick /Comet kit, but I don`t know if they will make them. www.mpgheads.com

mike, i shortened my tubes 3/4" on each end. the left hand threads weren't tapped all the way through. i had to buy a left handed tap and rethread that end. did you have the same problem.:)

Well when I called to order them ,I told the guy that I knew I`d need to shorten them if I got the Mustang kit...so I was thinking the Falcon kit would be closer to working with no mods. The guy said "Yea the Falcon kit is a Bolt on for the Maverick". I ordered the Falcon kit...Had to shorten the rods by about 1/2 " per end. Thats why I called them back and explained (complained) that they DON`T bolt right in and gave him the measurements and recommended that they simply make a new part number and offer a specific Maverick/Comet kit.
