Here are a couple of upgrades I've done to my Comet. Installed sport mirrors and new wheels and tires. What a difference these radials are compared to the cokers that used to be on it. BIG Difference! STEVE/ITSACOMET!

Black is a good color for Comets.

Thanks guys. I like the wheels too but, I was really surprised by how much the sport mirrors added to the overall look of the car.....glad I put em on. Well, on to the next project.:thumbs2: PS does anyone know if there is a bolt in aluminum radiator for the 302 cars? Saw one the other day on E-bay for a 6cyl. Steve/ITSACOMET!

There are bolt ins for our cars.
Griffin for sure makes a V8 version.
The ones on eBay are single rows with small hose fittings... I6 stuff just like you said.

The problem with bolt ins is that they are among the most expensive options.
The stock type bolt ins are a little cheaper, but the universal crossflows, generic from Summit are priced really good.
They require fabbing to get them in place though.

A few guys here have them.

Depends on if you want bolt in, or want to save some dough and work to get a universal in there.

    Car looks sweet btw!

Yes, a V8 radiator will work with a 250 without any other modifications.

    200's do. 250's are the same as a 302.

Hey Seth. I sold that set of wheels and tires awhile back. The guy who bought them owns a restoration shop....said he will use them on a future resto for period correctness. I think they would look great on a Mustang. STEVE/ITSACOMET!
