I want to keep a stock look. Should I repaint it the same color, or is that too ugly (my wife says yes)?

How about this: stay with the stock look but paint it a newer Ford color like a medium desert tan metallic. This way it doesn't fight with your interior color yet gives it a modern touch. Just my 2 cents and worth every penny!

I like this color. It would still match the interior.

Take her to the paint shop, have her flip through the book and let HER pick it out, that way when you want parts in the future, you can just say "well i let YOU pick out the paint, why can't i get this?" hahaha

But yea, i agree with updating to a newer ford color of similar hue, i would try the 98-99 ford Parchment color... dad had a windstar company van, but the color was beautiful! (too bad they went to GM company cars... he hates the chevy vans) But the parchment color looks allmost silver in the shade, and when you get it out in the sun, it looks a lot more golden-tan!

What does your current color look like " new" it might be better than you think when it is newly painted and glossy. if not that I'd go another color form the same year of Mav. Oh and isn't blasphemy to post a pict of "Plastic" Chevy's on a Ford website??:p
