The color of my Grabber was originally pastel blue. The colors represented on this link does not help my imagination much on the color http://www.maverickcolor.com/chips/71ford.jpg It appears to be white with a slight hint of blue. Any one have a better example of this color for 71? In 74, pastel blue returned but it appears to be more blue and a different aftermarket paint code. Thanks for any help. Joe
That helps, thanks. It confirms that the 71 and 74 colors were different shades of light blue and that my original color is far from an "off white" as I had thought.
Here is a supposed original colored pastel blue Mustang. Does anyone have pictures of a Maverick in this color? http://www.happycarz.com/pics_and_descp.php?id=571 I really like this color! The car is OK too.. I guess
I am pretty sure that is a darker color closer to the 74. Pastel blue wasn't a 70 color either. However, there was a similar "Diamond blue" in 70.
No, I do not think the color is original, but I think the color is awesome. I am partial to any color blue
I have more pic's of the car. It was at a local show owner said that it was all original. Still has 13" tires, and OD shows under 30,000 miles.
That appears to be Paint Code Q. Called Brittany Blue / Medium Blue Poly. That is the original color of mine.
I received the Marti report back for my 71 today. It says it was 1 of 518 with this paint code and 1 of 90 with this paint/ trim code. I was shocked on the double digit number. Explains the lack of examples of this color. I am not sure if it would violate any copyrights but a suggestion for this site would be to add another forum for everyone to post their Marti reports. We could really get an idea what and how many specifically were made.
