I was looking through the different consoles but I don't really wanna add one to my car. I have a bench seat and the package tray in a 71 mav. Anyone have any pics of how they added cup holders to the car? I know this sounds stupid but I can't do another day of coffee between my crotch!!

    sweet! thanks.
I went out and got some of those generic pep boys/kragen cup holders to see how I could make them fit on my car but I just couldn't figure out a way.

I understand completely. My Senior year in High School I was pulling out of 7-Eleven with a large cup of Coffee in my lap & hit a big pot hole.
@#$%:rant2::yikes:. Let us know what you come up with on cup holder ideas.(y)

Well, it's not in teh mav, but my first car, a honda accord had NO CUP HOLDER!!! and after a similar pot-hole scorched jeweled incident, i foudn this thing at wal-mart called "the wedge" it's pretty awesome, 2 cups and a junk thing (perfect fit or a motorola v3) and i just tucked it between seat n parking brake, but you could reverse it and use the center of the seat possibly? cost me like $10 and the best part, you can take it out at a car show!!!

I dumped many of those over on the passenger floorboard of my car when I was in college and whipped the Mav around a left-hand corner, because mine never would hang on tight enough on their own. My advice: screw it to the tunnel. :yup: All those quart mugs of spilled pop probably contributed to the passenger side floorboard of my car rotting out completely. :D

funny my ugly stock green one (or whatever the hell the ugly color is) had the same holder! lol! first thing i threw out. but i guess it works.

as far as cup holder.. i just don't drink anything in the mavericks... but bottled water... that doesn't spill. ;)
