    Hey,

how about someone make a Grabber Spoiler install article? I looked but couldn't find one. Also pictures would be preffered. I think it would be very helpful for those wanting to install one.

Basically put the spoiler on the deck lid at the angle you think it needs to go. Important thing is the stabbing effect of the studs on the spoiler. Mark them and start drilling. Use a small bit to begin, then work your way up to the size, takes some time and eats some metal. I used one of those drill bits that gets incremetally larger, pretty easy actually. While checking for fit, it guides you on how you need to enlarge the holes. Your first drill should be dead on straight with the angle of the curve of the bend of the deck lid. Actually it is all very easy.

For those that would like a super-easy install, I have several very good factory Grabber trunklids without the spoilers but with the factory pre-cut holes for cheap. Email me direct if interested.

The drill is called a step drill if you need to buy one. Have fun!

i just knocked 'em out with a grinder. putting on a grabber spoiler is just a matter of those 4 holes in the deck, the 1/4 extensions go on the same way the old ones came off

And don't forget to use some sorta sealer around the holes, or you'll get water in your trunk.

Either will mine, but I sealed it anways. When we pulled it off it has some sorta putty rings around each hole, they were pretty hard, so I redid it with some strip caulk.

Maybe because it so hot and dry here the stuff came off, if I remember right there was some crusty dirt, maybe that was it.

Yeah,, they did have some caulk stuff sealer originally, it usually stays intact here, and my 72 Grabber still had it in there when I took it apart. Lots of humidity here. My Stallion got rained on one year at Carlisle ( imagine that) and there was no water in trunk, but the windshield leaked and I had water on the floor, it freakin monsooned.
