73 maverick here

    Im buying a 73 maverick in a couple days. nothing special. 4 door and 6 cyl. I was wandering if a 71 grabber hood (as pictured) would fit on my 73?

    :Welcome:welcome to the board. the grabber hood fits all of the years and 2 and 4 door cars. they are hard to find and expensive.

    Thanks for the replys. I seen one on ebay before for like $250. If i knew for sure i was going to buy the car i would of got it. I love the way they look. Also could anyone tell me what kind of wheels these are? And maybe where to find them? Thanks again for the help.

    ya the grabber hood fits any maverick. it would probably be easiest to just get a fiberglass one. probably cheaper too.

    After looking at the car again i like the hood that is on it. Here is some pics of my new car. Just picked her up a couple hours ago. Has factory a/c and the interior is in very good condition. Needs cleaned though. Enjoy.

    Two things:

    1. What the heck happened to the steering wheel?

    2. You need bigger straps on the front of that car to hold it on the trailer. :eek::eek:

    The woman i got it from was pregnant and cut the steering wheel so she could fit lol :rolleyes:
