Yes....the Hump Hugger console fits in a Maverick with the high back bucket seats and floor shift automatic. The seats still fold foward as well. The only thing thing I can add is that the arm rest is about 2 inches too short in heighth...mostly in the back I would say. I am going to add a spacer underneath the back and raise it up about 2 inches and I think it will be perfect. Looks good as well.
okay, i'll bite. what is a hump hugger console and where does it come from? looks pretty neat though.
Most of the Mustang places sell them. Several different styles as well. Held in with velcro straps. About $99.00
I too am glad that someone else did this before I chose to get one of the humphuggers. Looks like it belongs there to me.
That's kind of what I thought.....I figure I'll have to custom make one to fit around the recliner handles......
On the topic of "recliner handles" - why are they in the center and not on the outside? Interference with the doors maybe? I thought the previous owner of my car just put the seats in wrong (left on right side, right on left side). But I remembered who restored the car (dmhines)and knew it had to be correct. Has anyone here tried switching the seats (not the rails)?
