    Scotty, I like how you even painted your rockers;)

    In O'Reilly's paint section, I found the "Ford Blue" and "Old Ford Blue" and the cap on the "Old" showed a darker hue, where the regular one was more of a lighter, baby blue color. So, that terminology is O'Reilly's, not mine.

    I was under the impression that the lighter shade was on the older cars...:huh: and I wanted the darker shade.

    I hope the caps hadn't been switched in the store:mad:

    i thought this was "old ford blue" (on the aircleaner)

    even tho that looks really nice i would probably tend towards the lighter blue

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.

    That is the dark blue on my motor. It is POR-15 engine paint. It is actually more of a blue/dark grey. I would have rather had Eastwood Ford Dark Blue as I like that color better.

    Here is how mine ended up...Pics have been seen on here before, but not in this thread. Valve covers are shiny chrome, flash made them look black, which is pretty cool looking too.

    The elbows are old Nascar peices and I made the center tube.
