Thanks! Here's a before and after pic of my "Interceptor" engine compartment. Since it has a/c and p/s, it's alot more "busy," but I detailed this one without pulling the motor and it still turned out pretty well. Someday soon I'll pull it too and really get into it though.
I would hide the starter solenoid down lower and get rid of the wires that run over the shock towers.
Or, put it in the trunk as it looks like that is where the battery is. I moved mine there and I like the loss of wires under the hood.
Yeah, the next one I do will have a chrome one-wire alternator, and a distributor with the coil built in to eliminate more wire clutter.
I didn't think to put the solenoid in the trunk or go with the 1 wire alternator when I built mine. It definitely would have cleaned up the right side.
Damn Tom!!! Are you trying to make me puke or something? Now that's exactly what I'll be doing the next time I go out and look at my engine! Gee thanks. Seriously...that is friggin awesome!
actually, I was thinking more of the "I'll show you mine" thing...... I dont own a trailer either,.....(nor a functional camera/or the advanced knowledge of how to post pics)... so short story made long ..., I aint playing in this round. I know better than to compete with you pro builders anyway. kewlpics:
