Stumbled across this site and it brought back some great memories. I ran a Comet between late 1970 into 1972, ran NHRA Modified Production, the car I ran was a magazine project car. Did five detailed stories on the car and it ran into the high 10 second range in the quarter mile with a Boss 302.http://www.bottmotorsports.com/BMStory.html Check out our current drag racing website for photos of the Comet and other projects. Will always have good memeries about my Comet Racing days. Dan Bott Sr.
