Thanks for all the compliments. I figure I'll just keep this thread going as I progress on this car.
My daughter currently lives in Opelika. Her inlaws are all in Dadeville. She is currently looking for land up in that area. Enough land for both of us. That is the current plan. That near anybody?

Oh, don't worry about how close you are...you'll just have to get up a little earlier to come to work. :)

Dennis, that's a little too close to Georgia and the in-laws. LOL. Try to find something near highway US 43. We have some nice retirement communities in the north end of the state.

Yep Jerry's right, that's over on the Ga [east side].. Jerry and me are over on the west side [Miss side]. Ray is way down south, almost on the water [about 20 miles IIRC.]

Since when do you have room to talk? Geez man, you could buy a brand new '57 Chevy when you were born! I mean that was like half a century ago! :rofl2:

Finished stripping the interior out. The passenger side rear floor is a goner. Anybody have one they can cut out? The drivers side has a very small rust hole, easy to fix. The rest of the floors are in great shape. I also found 2 more dead mice, that makes 4 total. I also found 14ยข to put towards the cost of the restoration. Woo Hoo!!

Too bad Dennis.....I am parting out a Maverick and I will be cutting out the floor boards. All of them are good EXCEPT for the rear passenger. :(

Shoot Dennis, that looks new compared to what my drivers side looked like...

Got the car stripped and hung on the rotisserie. This is the only way to do a car :D

I left the upper A arms on for now so I can fix what this bozo did. Sheeze...some people should not work on cars.

Yea, the floors are really in good shape compared to some I've seen. Still, one day I would love to take an old car apart and not see any rust. Yea, I know, I'm dreaming.
