    Hi,

after removing the door panel...roll the glass down a little. for the little ...plastic pins...i use a quarter (.25cents) and pop them out. then the glass can be tilted and brought out the opening...:yup:

    ...:tiphat:...

:hmmm: A quarter? I roll the glass down partially as Frank said. The plastic pins will line up with holes in the inner door shell. I just take a medium phillips screwdriver and center the plastic dowel pin, one light tap with a hammer and the center pops right out. The plastic retainers will then release from the regulator channel. You can then slide the glass out of the upper door opening like Frank said. You'll have to retrieve the center dowels from the bottom of the door for reuse. This is a very simple process. With the door trim panel removed I can have a door glass out in less than one minute.

Still trying to figure the qtr trick out...:hmmm:

ok...let me try to 'splain this...:hmmm:

the pin point sticks out a little past the retainer, i put the quarter on that side and push it with my thumb and the dowel pops out in my hand (don't have to go get it).:yup:

everyone don't have them fancy tools...med. phillips screwdriver and hammer...
and why use a hammer if you are going to ..."tap it lightly?"

    ...:bananaman...

Ha...have you ever pulled one of the big steel 1/4" rivets on a late model Ford product door glass before? You think you're gonna break the glass every time. It sounds like you're hitting the glass with a hammer when the rivet pops. Had one glass shatter on me a few years ago and am leary every time I pop one now.
