We are going to be doing a restoration on a 73' Grabber for a customer. We are going to pick up the car tomorrow, and I need to find a stripe kit for it so I can give the customer an idea of the cost. I checked out Phoenix Graphix, and the description they give of the 73' Grabber stripe kit sounds more like the 74' stripe kit. Not only that, it does not include the rear spoiler stripe or the ' Grabber ' decals for the fenders. AutoKrafters sells the entire stripe kit including the spoiler stripe. The ' Grabber ' decal is seperate. Both Phoenix Graphix and AutoKrafters sells the hood decal seperate. What I need to know is this: where has anyone on the forum gotten thier 73' Grabber stripe kits? Has anyone bought a stripe kit from AutoKrafters or Phoenix Graphix? Was the one from Phoenix Graphix the correct one for the 73' Grabber, and was the kit from AutoKrafters a good kit?

Looks like we will be going with Graphic Express. After adding everything up from the other companys, Graphic Express has the best price. Thank you, Dave!:tiphat:

This Grabber is the original dark green metallic with black stripes, 302 with the factory 3 speed. The owner says it's been sitting in a garage for 16 years. The body isn't too bad, except the passenger side door looks like someone took a can opener to it and the suspension is messed up. It seems the car had a very hard encounter with a curb that bent the crossmember and knocked out one of the tierods. It most likely has some minor frame damage, but we won't know until we get it up on jacks and get under it. We are leaving to pick it up in a few minutes.

Yup.:yup: We're neighbors. We are located about 20 miles north of Allentown, Pa. We have a 2 bay garage that we use as a restoration shop. We have painted dozens of cars in this little shop and about 7 or 8 Mavericks.
