Can't quite put my finger on it, but for some reason, this picture just really caught my attention.

Cool pic. I saw both of those cars run in person earlier this year in Atlanta! Just not against each other. How cool would that have been??!! :)

I'm not certain if that's the exact same Sox & Martin car. I think they had more than one of them there. It was really cool. Lots of nostalgia race cars there and lots of exhibition racing going on! Here's a lot more photos I took if you wanna take the time to check them out:

I know I'm a little older than some of you but being that I saw these two run in a match race...when they were "new"does that make me old?Sunset Dragstrip,Sharon Pa.arund '72-'73(too old to remember)Both were there,as was Eddie Shartman,Cammer Maverick,he won the event,I can still here him do them 100yd rosin 9000+ rpm burnouts he was famous for! Come to think of it I'm glad I'm old..LOL

Yes, we had an awesome time. That was my third year to make the trip to Atlanta. The first two years we met at Fun Ford Weekend but they changed it this year to the Ford South Show which was totally awesome. I couldn't believe all the old race cars that was there. Never seen so many 427 engines in one place. I'm not sure where they will meet this coming year (usually around April or May) but I'm sure it will be a great time again. You should try to make it with us. Or anybody else as far as that goes! :)
