Time to ditch FrontPage, I know its to late since I saw your other thread but one option could have been to used a text editor like Textpad to search and replace them.

And thanks, I added your site to G8i.com

Scott, I would save the pics at 1024*768 as 800*600 is small. The batch resize program also has a feature to rename pics(Click on the batch rename tab at startup) , but I dont know how flexible it is. I personally use this program, which would allow you to just rename .JPG to .jpg without changing the name of the file.

If you want to change the case of of the file names inside your HTML, pages I would load the files in a program like notepad +. You could open all the files in one shot and to search and replace. Make sure you perform this on a copy of your files, in case it does not workout in one shot.

Well, I got it all up and running, and really didn't plan on it taking that long to fix it. And I am now at the beachhouse for the week of Christmas, so I don't plan on getting into THAT mess again.

It is running OK, pics are 800X600 and seem to be fine for this purpose.

I have a lot of work to do to that site but I will wait and mess with it after the holidays.

Thanks for those links to the programs...I was amazed at how well the first one worked:thumbs2:

you can always find another webspace provider that gives more space, or you can run the website from your computer at home, then there isnt a space restriction

    Well...since you asked...

I don't have any new pics. These are from some past hurricanes we had.

You have to go over this huge bridge to get onto the island. As you get to the top you can see how big the surf is going to be, gets you all excited before you even get there :thumbs2:

Second is view from the patio. We are about 2 blocks off the beach here.

Third is view of the house from the road.

4th is the beach near the jetty. This is usually where I put the jet ski in. The surf is usually smaller near the jetty, so I can launch it off the trailer more easily without having to fight the waves. I usually surf about 200 yards to the left, where the waves get a bit bigger. Since this is the beginning of hurricane surf, the tide is really high and there is little to no beach. The waves break right up onto the dunes. As the hurricane gets closer, the tide rises even more and eventually, waves will be hitting the bottom part of the house. By then, we are usually off the island and have everything downstairs moved up into the house or brought to my house inland.

In the 5th pic, you can see the channel inside the jetty. It is much cleaner (waves are groomed and smaller). Only the biggest waves make it this far in, and when they break, they are really big and clean. This is during a relatively small hurricane. Rather than paddle through hundreds of yards of waves, many of us get lazy, walk about halfway out toward the end of the jetty, and jump off the rocks into the water.

That is me getting ready to make the walk and Anna giving me my traditional "good luck kiss" before I make my jump. There is usually about twice as much beach as you can see in the 5th pic, and that trash is all accumulated there from the storm surge pushing water toward that corner, and the crap that gets thrown off the ships ends up here. It isn't always that dirty, just like that from the storm surge.

One more, kinda special picture. Christmas day 2004. Woke up to about a foot of snow, and it stuck around for almost 3 days. Only snow anyone on this island ever remembers seeing.

There was some odd weather pattern that made it snow only along the texas coast that year.

This year it is odd the other way...we are wearing shorts and hanging out on the patio, playing in the water with the dogs or on the jet ski...weird
