pipe on manifold?

Who knows what the pipe with all the curves that conects in the top of the manifold is? We took my manifold off to replaces the gasket and cracked the pipe.

Sounds like you're talking about the exhaust manifold.

 

yes sir...my father looked at it and believes it is something to do with the vaccum

 

small diameter steel pipe, a little thinner than a pencil?

 

Vacuum modulator feed tube??(it goes to the trans)

 

Exhaust manifold or intake manifold?

 

If its exhaust its either the choke heat tube or the air injection tubes for the smog pump.

 

I'd say choke heat tube
Passenger side right near the fire wall and up to near the carb?

 

We have a mystery here, I think it's the trans dip stick tube..........or maybe the hard fuel line or sway bar

 

possibly the negative anode of the flux capacitor??

 

Nah, its the Electro-Framazaam inverter pipe.

A picture would be one way to get a real answer. Short of that, a discription using measurements and real, complete part names would be the next best thing.
I'd like to help but from what you have said it could be any of the real things mentioned. You need to pin it down for us.

 

Is it little tube that has the sock on it that comes from the exhasut manifold?
