    By the title of the thread, I was expecting to see gauges mounted in pods made from PVC pipe or something... ;)

    Yep! I've seen it Ray! Look up Hillbilly gauge in the dictionary & there's a picture of Ray's gauge there....LOL

    Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm a framing contractor by trade so when I build something it has to be wood. Wish I could fab and weld like some of you guys. Guess it takes all types for the car hobby. Thanks again.

    I got to see Joe's Comet up close and personal and it is sweet. He gave me one of his first gauge holders...have not installed it yet but I thought
    it was pretty nice. New one looks awesome Joe....
