Got my free air cleaner

i wont a raffle a couple of years back at K&N car show and i got a gift certificate for a free air cleaner assembly of my choice, well it finally got here yesterday

*dont know if it'll fit under the hood, i had to buy a 1"spacer to clear the dizzy

i got the xtream, i wanted the one with a chrome lip and 3" height but they only had the black 3 3/4" tall one...but i cant complain

 

nice . much better than the chrome Autozone one I have

 

funny thing i got the gift certificate a day after i bought a chrome one at autozone

Cut that bolt down, and pray the hood closes.

It definitely would NOT on my single plane intake. It is high enough with a 2" filter that I have to jack the back of the hood up an inch for it to close.

I want to buy one of those K&N tops, and swap out my current side filter with K&N. Just looks cool red, and not that crappy white paper stuff.

 

I'm kinda hoping it doesn't so i'm Forced to buy a hood Scoop.
