Unexpected results, LED vs conventional bulb

I like it... but now my laptop is acting crazy . Keeps playing a skipping version of that that song as I type.

Off topic..

In a 60s Dean Martin spy movie he had a TBird with tail lights that would spell out whatever he spoke into a microphone. Bad guys were chasing him and all of a sudden his tail lights read "If you can read this.......you're too close".

matt get a differant bulb. the right LED is crucial to the type of reflector.

of course there is nothing wrong with them... it just that there OLD technology! its 2008! lol! j/k but everything is changing to LEDs .. new cars semi tucks and yes even home new appliances. The only thing is the light distribution is not as direct… but that’s when you change to an HID light.... lol!

 

You didn't read far enough Derek. I don't have any LEDs yet, I was experimenting. I don't want them to look like LEDs, I want them to look normal. (I actually like how the LEDs in the work light lit up the lens). I just want the lower power draw of the LEDs since I'm going from 2 tail lights/brake lights to 6 tail lights/brake lights.

 

i have A.D.D you know that already lol!

but you can get LED not to look like that. it is about difusion within the housing. rig some reflective material within the housing and use those bulbs that direct the light in all directions they have like 24 or more LED per bulb.

that i would think would work.
