When I opened the site, this picture of a modified Maverick really struck me, due to the grille treatment. Since I am a newbie, I dont know if this grille and fenders are heavily modified/custom, or this was a front clip for the Brazilian market?

Since the rest of the car appears heavily modified, I am assuming this is a custom job, but I'm sure y'all can set me straight?

Oh yeah. Nothing stock about that. I like the shape, although it looks a little off to me. Maybe because the width of these cars isn't very flattering to four headlights. Or maybe it would look better blacked out. Either way, I have to respect the craftsmanship.

I like the concept of quad headlights, just not this particular rendition of the concept. I am actually more interested in how the fenders were formed.

I had to ask if this was a Brazilian variation, because in my latest copy of Legendary Ford Magazine, they showed Brazilian Galaxies that blew my mind, because they did not quite look right, (I initially thought I was looking at US Galaxies) and I had never heard of such a thing. Also, when the USA discontinued that particular Galaxie body style in '67, they kept on making the same Galaxy body up until the early 80s! And with the ca-raziest grille & taillight treatments. I distinctly remember one model that had the ubiquitous Mav/Comet/Cougar/Mach I 'sport lamps' in the front grille!
