I hired a glass guy to do it for me today. He has ordered it and he came over and removed the old one. There is alot of cleaning to do :(. He gave me a tip on cleaning the black sealer too. He suggested charcoal lighter fluid and it works great.
I have to have it ready in a week cause he said he can't store it when it comes in. I really don't want it sitting around to get broken either, so I will be trying like mad to make progress. I know it envolves doing the headliner also so i'm feeling the pressure. :sarcasticclap:

I'm up to do the exact same thing this weekend(seals front + back). I figured I'd buy the headliner too and kill 2 birds with one stone. The glass guy also does upholstery so thats a plus. I found the headliner on Fleabay for 60.00 or so. So I just have to call my guy and ask how much he'd charge to install it.

I may even tackle it myself. i think It'll be worth the experience.

Headliners are not a lot of fun to put in but then a lot of the stuff we do is not a lot of fun. Just make sure you lay the headliner out preferably in a warm spot to take all the wrinkles out ahead of time, maybe use a blow dryer to heat it up.

This is the part i'm dreading. I have a new one here and I am scared to start doing it cause i'll mess it up, but I have to try.

Thanks for reminding me. I am leaving tomorrow to finish a gate job and I will be gone a couple of days. Be better to have it out during that time. :Handshake

Gene,When you do the headliner, make sure you dont mix up the steel bows the head liner is attached to.Each one goes in only one location(but can be moved around,so mark em)as you remove them.If you mix em up,you will go nuts tryin to get that head liner to sit right.
