Just a heads up fella's. Next month Collectible Automobile will have a feature article on the Maverick/Comet history. The magazine is $7.95 which is a chunk of change for sure, but it is a very high quality magazine with the best writers in the industry. Also, for all you people in the Austin/San Antonio area up in Lometa (on US 183) there is a black 2dr Maverick that has been sitting for several months that looks pretty clean. There is not a "For Sale" sign in the window but it is really too nice to just let it sit there and deteriorate. It's on the south side of town on the east side of 183. Somebody needs to get up there and find out if they can get it. THAT'S AN ORDER PEOPLE!!!!

Hmmm I remember them asking on here for cars to photograph for the issue, but I thought they said August? I guess they moved it up. :)

It's bi-monthly. The next isssue will be August. That is next month to them.
The June issue is the one out now.

Sweet thanks!! It's an awesome mag, expensive but worth it. Quiet a few years ago they had a write up about Mavericks, I was too busy buying 5.0L Mustang magazines and missed that issue.

Yeah, that one was in the cheap wheels section and it concerned the Grabbers.
I've been buying the magazine since '86. If your only into Resto-Mods or High
Performance mods, you'll be disappointed in the magazine. Otherwise, it is quite excellent. Back in 2000 they covered the Vega and back in '05 they covered the
    Pinto history.
