well today it was absolutely beautiful. it was 72 and SUNNY so i took advantage of it by getting some work done outside. first thing this morning i cut my grandmother's yard, then my own, then proceeded to work on my '71. I managed to get the back brakes on and hooked up and changed all 4 wheels. I ordered some new brake parts for the front that will be in tomorrow, so as soon as the parts come in i will have stopping power i just ordered some new parts for the engine as well. next week im putting in a '91 5.0 engine with a carb on it. so if all goes well, i will be driving it to the local cruise-in (and the sheriff's office for an inspection ) Here's a snapshot of how it sits right now.... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/71 2dr blue/
Looks like a good one to start a project with. Mine had the same exact dent in the rear corner panel. Ha. Cleaver
I had some wheels like that. (5 lug) I stored them at work and someone stole them. I guess the scrap price of aluminum was to much for them. Your car is looking good. Ken
