I used the bar today on PINKY ;man I hate that manual cleaning labor stuff.
I did the trunk, then the drivers side.....everything looked great! Then once I got finished.....the trunk needed to be cleaned again :rant2: BLACK CARS SUCK!!!!

Here is a pic of the trunk finished....you can see the difference with the rear 1/4.

My thoughts on the bar :) It works good on light to mild oxidation....way to much rubbin' for me on the harder stuff :D but maybe I should have been smart enough to not let it get that way.

That Comet is definetly Drool worthy..... That is one FINE Comet you are a lucky Man.

BTW has anyone ever tried turtle wax polishing compound on oxidized black paint? I used it and if you keep it nice and damp and use cheese cloth it take the oxidation out almost as easy as using a good paste wax. I have used it on Oxidizes black and oxidized red as well

Used to use that turtle wax polishing compound back in the 60's and 70's. Was kinda harsh on lacquers, but worked good on Fords which had enamel. Good stuff, didnt even know they still made it.

John; I used it on the Grabber Green car, and it worked well. The paint on my car is single stage poly, not base clear. Don't know if that makes any diff. Your car is gonna look great when you are done. Later,

    Earl

thanks......my issues had really gotten bad. Its been in the garage forever. No car cover and I am an idiot, cause I have powder coated and painted other stuff with her just sitting in the corner. The bar is really doing a good job.....just on some of mine it requires some elbow grease; rubbing hard and hearing my shoulder "pop" & "crack" is somewhat unsettleling :16suspect but I am managing (y)

once I get done I am investing in a good car cover :)
