That was a neat pic of the '70 Grabber . Sadly (well, in a way)...that was the exact car that my Dad bought in 1970, same color and features. That brought back some memories; wish I could have it. Chris
Not that I intentionally did this but I actually had my wife thinking about letting me buy that Grabber for the Price I told her that There was that much in parts that I could use to make my Yellow car better and she looked at me when in the other room and told me Dang it hun, if you would get rid of a few other things I wouldn't feel bad about not wanting you to bring something like that here and put it in the garage and you and Nick work on it but there is just too much stuff here right now. Do it if you think it's right..... I know it's NOT right to bring it here and start the Yard looking like a junk yard so I have to pass.. But a the thought of a 70 grabber being stripped breaks my heart enough that if it really came to that (you guys won't let it happen) I think I would buy it and ask My Grandmother if I could put it behind her barn for a couple months or maybe at my Mother-in-laws house behind the my Bro-in-laws garage
Actually I didn't and don't want to sell this car to someone who just wants it for parts. I can strip it myself and make a lot more than the $350 I'm asking for it. It is a good enough car to save and my intention was to give someone the opportunity to do just that. Thats what I'm hoping for anyway.
Ok, here is the other grabber. Despite the "not so bad" outward appearance, its pretty rusty in all the wrong places.
Too bad about the rust because it's a great looking car .... Do you think the guy who had these let them rust away like that? Or were they already goners? That's a poster child car ...
