Nothing but Meguiar’s on my baby...

I used to use Turtle Wax Liquid Crystal because it filled scratches and swirls so well. Then I was using Zymol because it has high wax content and smells lovely. But those are messy waxes that are hard to get off without adding swirl marks.

Now, it's nothing but Meguiar’s. Their claybars and wax are great (afterwards I used the dirty claybars to clean my bumpers and remove embedded brake dust from my hubcaps - worked great).

The abrasive polish got all the scratches on my hood clean enough to repaint with clear coat... nothing else worked at all (even cut polish).

The mild (#2) polish is a good plastic polish as well - I use microfibre towels now on everything and if you use one with the mild polish and "rub till it squeaks" you can take the haze of plastic lenses.

Since I'm starting a detailing rant here... Simple Green on interiors and then a wet (water only) magic eraser to deep-clean the pattern on vinyl seats and interior panels UNBELIEVABLY WELL... and Turtle Wax formula 2000/2001 is a good, long lasting tire dressing that doesn't turn white in the sun, unlike the "other product".

Same here. All of the buffing, cleaning and waxing products used in our shop are made by Meguiars.

I go back and forth between Zymol and Meguiar's. Basically I do routine waxings with Zymol and I use Meguiar's quick detailer for touch ups, Meguiar's glass cleaner, interior cleaner/detailer, tire dressing and they have this great plastic wax that is designed for making dull/ foggy plastic headlight lenses clear again. Great products!

I use Meguiar's for polishes and waxes mostly, use 3M products somewhat when buffing. Then Ward F got me hooked on Wizards products, they are awesome!

I have some Zymoil, but never have used it on the Comet.

We use 3m products for buffing and a lot of automagic products for detailing on our cars as well as customer cars. automagic also made the original clay bar that works a little better than the meguirs or mothers versions. i think their web site is autowax.com maybe? but I also use some meguirs products when I run out of the other stuff.
