I knew that the Brazilian Mavericks used different grill medallions, but never realized how many there were until I saw the pictures of the Maverick Nights II show in Brazil.

Here are pictures of different medallions.

Scoubidou has a Brazilian Mav that has a ribbed tail panel and is ribbed below the beltline. Is that custom or is it yet another thing Ford screwed America out of like the extra chrome, better transmissions and cooler graphics? Don't even get me started on the Australian Falcons that America never got to see before Mad Max!

Scoubidous Mav with the ribs, midway down.

That tail panel totally improves the Mavericks rear. It explains so much about American tail lights. That extra trim is awesome.

The lack of side markers give them a lot cleaner look, they also look shorter.

The lack of side marker lights always caught my eye. It's makes such a difference in the overall visual of the car. In fact, I'm planning to fill my own in and replace them with those little round ones from late 60's Mopars. I don't think I'll get away with removing them completely so instead I'll just mininumize their size.
