    I'll be there with Mr.Ford, sadly I won't have a car there this year. Maybe I will get to act like a kid the whole time I'm there.

    Still not sure on my status. I might risking driving the '71 that far with that alternator bolt held in only by locktite and hopes and dreams. If the bolt pulls out, I'm screwed though.

    i wouldnt immagine it pulling out with loctite on it :huh: good luck on your trip though :)

    My dad and I should be there on Thursday. We'll be flying in from St. Louis, and driving from there. Just wondering: could anyone please recommend a good rib/bbq restaurant in the greater St. Louis area? Thank you.

    You could drill it out and tap it with larger threads. :idea:
    Also, I saw that Fastenal sells "liquid threads". Not sure how well it works though.

    sorry, i thought he was referring to the bottom bolt (adjustment bolt)...:oops:

    Bruce we could heli coil it...... if you drive it and you want to do this let me know what size it is and I can have the stuff reddy.......just a thought

    P.s. when would you come down?? and you know if you have problems on the way we have a network of freinds to help along the way......and we have trailers.......that don't haul boats if need be:bouncy:
