Emblems and barrell nuts.... which size?

i was looking around some mustang houses for the barrell nuts that hold our emblems on the fenders and came across two different sizes and was wondering if someone knew what size fits our's. the choices are 3/32" stud size or 9/64" stud size, anyone know which one is correct?

I have some out in the garage, I can measure them tomorrow and let you know. I just came in, it's too humid out and the bugs are pretty thick tonight.

 

Dave the 9/64ths ones are the correct style for our fender emblems,but I cant be sure on the size...I believe 3/32nds is the correct size but dont qute me on it.

Dave I just measured the studs on the back of one of my Maverick fender emblems.
They are 1/16th so you would need a barrel nut that fits a 3/16ths hole.Hope the fuzzy math helps you out.

I am pretty sure you can go to NAPA or other parts stores and just buy them there. I got some from my local Ford dealer. Had them in stock so I could look at them.

 

been to Napa, carquest and Advance and only found an assortment in the Help section.

Craig, do you remember the factory part number for them?

They were not a Ford part. Just had a rack with little bins of all kinds of fasteners.
