I don't have a pattern for the bench front seats yet but can make them from your original covers. I can also do the Escort seats to match the Maverick seats. Depending on which style Escort seats you have I may already have the patterns, if not I can make them using your covers as patterns.

I'm interested in a set of black bucket covers for a 71-72 style grabber seat but with the vinyl inserts that match my 1970 Grabber seat material. Not sure if you have access to this material (picture below - I can get closer shots, too), and if not, I can always buy it from SMS and send it to you. Let me know if this is something you could do, and what that would cost me. PM or email me if you want. Thanks!

When you have the time, Ill take a set of front covers in green. Just pm how to pay. Let me know if pictures of the covers will help on color choice.

Anyone who has inquired about seat covers and hasn't received a response please email me at fredcarello@yahoo.com. I have been having problems with notifications on replies to this post. I just received a notification that pinboss9 just replied. The reply was posted 5-9!! Joe's seat covers are done and installed already. I have almost a dozen sets so far for both the 71/72 and 73/74 styles. iRear eat covers are available for both. I am still trying to get a pattern for the bench seat. I am fairly busy with my regular work but can usually get at least one set out per week. Black and blue are no problem as the vinyls are readily available. Sprint covers, green, ginger and Comfort Weave are available but the materials are more expensive so the sets are more.

Fred, I just wanted to share with everyone what a great job you did by posting pictures of my finished seats. But, I could not figure out how to post them; ran out of time, so I just gave up.
Anyhow, You have my sincere recommendation, and Thank You for all your help.

Wow! Just saw this thread for the first time... Those look really nice! How close is the color to the original Medium Blue? The rear seat in my 73 is in perfect condition still (no tears, rarely used....), so I'm hoping I can do just the front buckets unless the colors are too far apart.

    Dave,
Dye lots vary but when I did my 77 it was a perfect match. The same vinyl was used on the Econolines in the 70's. I recently did a set of seats for one and they matched perfectly also. If you email me your address I will mail you a sample of the current dye lot. fredcarello@yahoo.com

    Joe,
I'll post the ones you sent me. Which buttons did you use?
    Thanks again,
    Fred

I used the old ones. I carefully cut them from my old seats. I smoothed the back of them with a sanding belt, then cleaned both surfaces with denatured alcohol, I when applied them with Industrial Strength sticky back foam tape…trust me, they’re not coming off and the tape is undetectable.

Are you still making these? And, if so, did you ever get a pattern for a front bench seat? I have a '73 with front bench and would love to get front and rear covers (in black).

Yes I still make the covers. I have the rear patterns for a 73 but not the front bench.
If yours is the original I can make a pattern from it. Contact me at fredcarello@yahoo.com

The 73-74 seat back foam is molded around the seat frame, there is no easy way to replace it. :( and the bottom is way different than Mustang.
