That intake requires a lot of engine and a lot of RPM to get the max use out of it. It is definitely a top end intake.

Seems like a heck of a deal.....
    but gotta agree with Terry...
Seems to be to much for the average street engine....

One of the Maverick owners here in St. Louis ran one on his car with a 347. When I saw him recently he had changed manifolds to make the car more street friendly. He doesn't come on here but I am sure you could call and talk to him for input. PM me if you would like his number.

Interesting place for the temp sending unit. Seems like a good price for a satin, high performance manifold. I wonder if it would make any difference than my Weiand Accelerator..

I've seen 'em on a couple big stroker street engines, 393 & 408, not on 302s. I thought for the price it would look neat, I could even epoxy fill the runners some to decrease the cross sectional area and lower the rpm range.

I replaced my Tunnel ram with the Parker but I got the one with the polished finish from J&C for $119.00. The intake includes bosses that can be machined for nitrous, stock Ford or after market injectors and fuel rails. It also have bosses for the rear water crossover passage. There is plenty of media available to grind for port matching as well. I did have an issue where the rear gasket goes and It took a good amount of goo to seal it up. I would say it is better suited for the track as compared with a Victor.

A funnel web has no heat to the manifold and it will take forever for the engine to get warm enough to run without a choke. The tubes are tuned for the UPPER rpm range so it will destroy the low end on even a stroker.
They are great for all out race motors but not so good for the street.

My Performer RPM heads and intake have no manifold heat crossover and my carb has no choke, not a problem, but the carb is a bit farther away with the funnel web. Like I mentioned, just for the looks factor I would consider epoxying the runners to make them smaller for lower rpm use. It's a very good price for an aluminum intake.

Sorry, J & C Enterprises on ebay I don't see it listed any more but I have picked up several low end parts from them.
