Yea I was thinking about it. Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried it. Would need a lot of fabrication (sp.) inbetween the seats. Alot of different things could be done there.
Heck yeah. Big stack of amps and a few speakers.... Lots of possibilities. Hope someone has some info for you. (I'll be lurking in the shadows, too.)
As mentioned above, Tom Hackman did it in his latest creation(tangerine dream), there is no space left inbetween the seats to put anything. They end up touching each other and the outside panels. It does look cool.
these are cavalier same as the front http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=27571&d=1212633687
I'm gonna do it the next time the local pick n grab has a half off day.. I went there and did my measurements.. of course new holes would have to be drilled but thats really it I would think that a center console from a Ford Exploder or something would look good! Probably would have to do a bit of cutting though to get it to fit... As far as behind the seats goes I would either weld a plate of sheet metal to the area where the old cardboard divider goes!
Ugh there still hasn't been a 1/2 off day... I think I'll just have to stop being a cheapskate and fork over the dough... Stay tuned, I'm goin to the junkyard in the next 2 weeks...
