Look just to the right of the left tail light. There are two holes there and I'm trying to figure out what (if anything) was supposed to go in that spot. The holes aren't the right width for the "Maverick" badge like you see on the fenders, and I haven't seen any car in the gallery with an emblem there, but they do look like a place where you'd put an emblem, don't they? Surely a dealership wouldn't drill holes to put their badge on a car...
Yes, Most dealer badges were drilled an mounted in those days. If you know the selling new dealer, I'm sure you will find a match for your holes
Lame. Well alright. Maybe I'll cover it up with something until I can have it fixed right. Eventually I'm going to smooth it all out and repaint the car, but that's a ways off. So... What do y'all think would look better in that spot? A blue oval, a "302" or "5.0" type badge, or holes?
Put a SHELBY tag on it........ Shelby county.....Shelby maverick...... The lost Shelby maverick has been found Robert
It contained a quick gold medal jabb , wasn't "thrown down". Just teasin you know... since you left yourself open.
I don't know who this Blue is everyone keeps bringing up but this could be a blu and faceless squabble, if you can stay up till 3 or 4 am...? That's what I thought.
Blu ain't got a chance!!! Oh yeah...I vote the Bobcat tail lights too. Or if I could find it, I have a metal dealer nameplate put up somewhere...says Shelby Motor Company, Shelbyville Tn. Nothing to do with Carroll Shelby either but cool so I've hung onto it for about 25 years now. Sorry...not for sale either.
