1973 Comet. Who makes bolt in subframe connectors that will fit? Can I get a set to fit another car like a mustang or something? Thanks for your help. - Lance
Welcome to the forum. I am not aware of any bolt in connectors for a Maverick/Comet, several weld in options though.
You can contact Rudy (Bulhead) on this forum he makes some. Dan Starnes makes some as well but not sure if he any currently. Or Chassis Engineering http://chassisengineering.com/
Oops, CE part number C3140 for 1st gen Mustangs. The Mustang frame rails are a little wider than a Mav's so I had to put shims between the subframe rails and the connector U-channels.
Same here - the early Mustang ones. I modified them and ended up welding them - but they will fit as a bolt on with the shims as mentioned.
I have weld in ones that I got from Summit Racing Parts. They were not in there catalog, but I called and asked, and they carry stuff that's also not in the catalog.
OOPS! thats because I mistakenly referred to the ones in the pic as alstons. The pic actually showes the chassis engineering ones I installed on gagemans mav.The ones on my mav are the allstons. Identicle to yourse.I made a boo boo with that one
