Im debating on if I want to keep the black top...what do you think?

The car will be a green color, exactly the same color as this:

These were done with spray, Ive been experimenting with colors and when I find what I like Ill said it all down and get it professionally painted.

This is a LONG way from what it looked like before

You asked for my opinion, so here it is... Your's may vary!

I love vinyl tops, but I can't stand vinyl tops!
My 75 had vinyl, and it rotted the roof totally out. They are notorious for doing that.
If I do it again, I will install the vinyl roof's metal trim, but then only paint the roof the color of the top. I will never actually install vinyl ever again...:nono:

Also, again just my opinion, but the Halo tops look far sportier than any other top configuration. I am sure some will argue, but I love Halos.

Lastly, and I have thought long and hard about this one since I live in the south...
A lighter color roof will keep the car cooler in summer. Important if you live in the south, OR drive your car regularly without A/C during the summer.

If I get a chance, I'll photoshop a green Mav with a white Halo top.
    Might look good!

    Here ya go...
This pic was easy, the car already had a white halo, so I just tweaked it from blue to green...

The color combo will look great. I'm glad I went with the black...

With the cost of oil, I would consider using concrete. :D

I think the black top will look good on the car.

I've seen 3 kinds of vinyl tops in Mavericks/Comets, these are the full top, halo and 3/4.

If you're gonna do it, whichever you like, paint it or you'll have a bad situation in years to come.
