Shaker Hood Yay Or Nay

    I am looking around for a shaker hood to put on my 72 comet but first i thought i would ask if anyones seen one with it and if they liked it.
    if anyone has pics thatd be great

    i've seen them with a boss shaker and a torino cobra shaker, the torino one looks way better IMO...do a search for pics...

    Shakers look good on Mavericks,I dunno about Comets though.I allways liked the GT scoops on comets.It would look cool,I am just so used to the GT scoop look.Ill stop now.

    Maverick YES ... Comet NO ... I like the standard GT hood on Comets.

    Terry Hahn has a great boss 302 shaker setup on his maverick now! I'll have to get some pics of it and post up on here. Just be prepared to spend around $500-$600 for the complete setup though, and the air cleaner will need to be cut down and put back together to fit in a maverick right.

    a shaker hood off a transam would look cool...or just flip it around and bolt it to the hood for the typical muslce scoop look

    I'm with RadMav on this one. A 429 Boss scoop will look better on a Comet

    almost looks like a buick stage1 scoop on a grabber hood

    this is what we'll be doing, thought about buick 350 swap too but 302 is to easy to bother with another type of engine!

    I'm sorry but personally I like the stock Comet Scoop better, but hey it's your car and I'm sure it will turn out great whatever you do.
