I'm still a firm believer in Valvoline in anything I own... car, truck, boat, tiller, mower, etc.

I won't put a fram filter on anything either... car, truck, boat, tiller, mower etc... that is if i has a filter.

Motorcraft filters on everything I've had except the Sonoma. Even the Z-71 I ran a motorcraft filter (was pricey but thats what i wanted)

The sonoma gets a Purolator filter, as that was in stock besides a Fram nonfilter.

I've been running the Valvoline Maxlife Synthetic blend in everything I have lately and really do like the oil. I change oil ever 3000 to 3500 miles and it still is somewhat clean when I change it, but I do it for peace of mind

Frank all 5w20 oil is a synthetic blend even if it does not say it on the bottle:Handshake

Some cars specify the 5w20 full synthetic!!!

    :agreed:

Change it every 2500-3000 miles in my cars, Motorcraft or wix filters.

Both trucks still going fine. The 2000 now has around 380,000 on it. The '05 is at 108,000.
