Ratio 411 can answer this one, Whats the skinny on this conversion? Is the front clip a bolt-on? I love it! If I find a old body without fenders, ill do one. Just a KOOOOOOL set-up. Regards. Al
I want to know this too. because I have 2 four doors, one a parts car with a thrashed by rust front end. So I'm thinking.....front clip and taillights would be cool.
i guess having the only 4 door mustang in town would be kind of diffrent if a mustang front end fits so easily though tell me this wouldnt look even cooler. the square-ness might work well with a 4 door shell. not to mention how much cooler they are then mustangs
And I think that link has several posts about how the car was done. I could type it all here again, but I didn't particularly want to. Edit: I think I owe you an apology... I scanned through that thread, and it isn't the in depth discussion we had on the car a while back. I will look for the thread where we talked details about metal working and such. My posts weren't the most helpful on those points, but it was an interesting talk with guys that knew some body work. Edit2: This thread has some discussion. It also has a link to the thread I was looking for, but it doesn't work anymore... http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=24478 or http://forums.stangnet.com/583491-what-year-stang.html
niiice. I almost got a free cougar, but my dad said we didn't have room for it in the yard and it got scrapped. If only id have got it I could have tried that.
Cougars are intensely good looking. Most Mercury versions of Ford products are superior in styling. Most Mercury anythings are awesome.
actually, now that I look at it again, something just isn't right. something about the front looks too big for the car. It kinda looks like the front wheels are bigger than the back, but that may be a perspective thing. Plus I don't have my glasses on. Id still do it though, just to have something different.
The rear needs fender flares for it to look right. The front fenders are very aggressively flared, while the stock rears are pretty much inverted flares. Makes it look out of balance.
